Oh, just a lil this and that to make you smile...

"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass...

IT'S ABOUT LEARNING TO DANCE IN THE RAIN!"

I should be washing bottles, or doing laundry while these babies are sound asleep... but its raining outside, its Friday, I am lazy and I don't want to! So there. :) I decided it would be more fun to post some new and exciting things that are going on in our house.

First, as you all know Miss Sophia is on the move. She only goes backwards at this point but can really get around. She will put her butt in the air and rock back in forth and then all of a sudden she is scooting herself backwards and then she will roll whatever direction she wants to go next. It is so adorable. Here she is in action...

Disclaimer: The above photo was taken at the mall... there was no harm done while she was sleeping the whole time and didn't even know she had these funny glasses on! :)

Second, we have decided to introduce sippy cups ... this is to ease the transition so when its time to switch from bottle to sippy they aren't completely unfamiliar. Noah loves IT! He loves to drink from it and hold it like a big boy! At this point I am just putting water. Sophia thinks it is a teether thus far and could careless about it. She is too busy being a rollie pollie to hold anything in her hands anyway.

Third, the babies are starting to really interact with each other. Not just holding hands but playing and stuff. They stare at each other more and like to grab each other. It is so neat to watch. Sometimes when I am in the kitchen and can hear them playing and laughing with each other while in their exersaucers or during tummy time. I try to go out of the room and sneak peeks to see how long they will stay content just interacting with each other without seeing me. They do really well. Sometimes I have to finally break up their lil party and get some mommy time! ;0)
Here is when Sophia decided to wrestle Noah down to suck on his foot!!!!

BUSTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (She already has a guilty look!)

Fourth, Noah has found his feet. He is all about them. Trying to put them in his mouth or just holding them. I am still working with Sophia doing "this lil piggy" hoping she will start to enjoy them as much as Noah. They are just on two totally different wave lengths right now which is fun bec if they just did the same things that would be soooo boring!

Lastly, here are SOME of the photos from their 6 month pictures which are really special because big bro Andrew is in them. Getting professional photos with him is hard because we have him every other week and when he is not in school he is busy with sports. Luckily we had time during Christmas break. (I know a lil late considering I am about to post their 7 month photoshoot in few more days!) Enjoy...

Have a great weekend. Enjoy the rain. I am sure it won't last long. We will be around if you want to stop by and visit. Also, we are having a superbowl gathering for those interested.
