Our 4 Month Check Up

I am still debating whether this appointment was more traumatic for me or them.

They both got their 4 month vaccinations today, which consisted of 2 separate shots in one thigh and one by mouth. They were such lil troopers... Sophia was first and very dramatic. She made sure that everyone in the building knew she was in pain and not happy. Noah on the otherhand started to freak out but we kept telling him over and over "WHAT A BIG BOY NOAH" and "You did it Noah" while clapping (new thing- he loves it!) so that helped to calm him down quickly. They were both out by the time we got to the car.

Anyway, now for the good stuff....

Sophia weighed in at 13lbs 6oz and 22" long.

Noah weighed in at 11lbs 7oz and is 22 1/4" long.

So, Sophia may weigh more but Noah is taller! GO NOAH! :-)

Dr. Nichols said they are right on track developmentally and she is very happy with their progress. She said she will see us back for their 6 month appointment/shots in December. YAY.

Right now they are sleeping peacefully. I gave them tylenol earlier to help keep their temperature and discomfort under control. I am so proud of my twinkies, aren't you?!
