Summer 2011 ~ Fun in the SuN!

We are big kids now...

Well, after almost three wonderful years home every waking minute with my babies, I have accepted a job back at United HealthCare as a PROJECT COORDINATOR and start MONDAY!

I am so greatfull for the time I had with my lil butterflies that have grown from 3lbs and 4 lbs to 30lbs in such a short time. I feel so blessed to be there for every word, step, and smile, taking pictures and videos like a crazy lady. I have enjoyed watching them blossom into little people in this big world and seeing their personalities flourish. I know it sounds like I am never going to see them again but the thought of being away from them for 40 hours a week seems it kinda seems like it! I know once I get my routine going things will be OK. For now, I will pack my tissue for the drive to work and purchase waterproof mascara! :) I have truly had the best 3 years of my entire life with this miracles.

The twins are starting preschool 3 days a week and will be with daddy the other two (since he works on weekends he was able to adjust his schedule). Papa, AKA, Tom, my dad, will watch them the after preschool till we get home at our house. We want them to ease into the transition without having to feel so much change all at once. The preschool director says they will adjust just fine...its the parents that have the hardest time of all. HA! I agree. I know preschool is good for them but its letting someone else raise my child that gets me or not being there for the hugs they need throughout the day or being there to wipe away tears or kiss their boo boos.

OK, enough of the sadness, lets think happy thoughts, now I will enjoy being able to eat a meal with no interuptions and NOT leftovers of theirs, wear my cute heels again, dress up and have time to put make up on, challenge myself again with projects at work, GET OUT OF THIS HOUSE, shop at lunch, climb the corporate ladder, and maybe even start going on vacations again. Oh, and lets not forget our fun Disney trips. I will have to play hooky ever now and then to get those in there. :)

My new journey will start a new chapter in all of our lives. It is bittersweet, but change is good right?

3 more days until SANTA arrives. The kids are waiting patiently.

Well we have come a looooong way since then. Not only has our family grown the choices in greeting cards from Shutterfly has as well.

One thing I love about Shutterfly is that they have so many different cards to choose from. I love that you can choose a variety of colors besides just red and green. The styles range from traditional to modern and my fav is the photo card options range based on your preference including 1 -5 photos. They ship them fast and the software is so easy to use my 2 year old could make a card! :) LOL.

I recently purchased the LEAPSTER learning system for the kids for Christmas and am really encouraging educational toys this year. Anyhow, here are some games that I think they may enjoy. I also included some other things in case anyone is interested in gift ideas. :) I am sure all this stuff can be found cheaper at walmart or amazon and used with coupons could be fairly inexpensive. I promise...

to blog soon (very soon) about Noahs staph infection, our trip to san diego to see the LiMandris and go to the zoo for fathers day, Sophia and Noahs 2nd birthday party and their 2nd birthday doctor visit, our 6 year anniversary trip to Palm Springs, our recent trips to the beach, angel game, my nephew Andrew getting a car for his 16th birthday from my dad, our birthday lunch with Aunties Annie and Helen, going to see the circus, and some other exciting things.

It wont happen tonight but it will happen. Life is good, real good. We are enjoying this summer and keeping really busy and loving it.

Heaven has an ANGEL!

RIP SHELLY - We will always remember you and love you!

Today my Dads wife, Shelly passed away at 9:46am. It was just after my dad was able to talk with her and tell her he will be OK that she took her last breathe. I truly believe she needed to hear that before she passed.

Please take a moment to say a special prayer for someone who fought bravely the battle of cancer!!!! Pray for a cure while you are at it. Thank you.

Andrew Jr. is almost 11!!!

Gosh time flies. When I met him he was 2 1/2. anyway, we are going to take him to wild rivers for his birthday and the San Diego Zoo. but I just wanted to make sure ya'all remember him too. His big day is June 25th but he will be here on the day of the twinkies party too. :) XOXO

-noah needs a helmet for when riding his big wheel and tricycle

Spa Heaven

Mommy got a break on Monday... I got to go to Glen Ivy Day Spa. Woo HOO! I enjoyed a lovely hour long massage and got to hang out and have lunch with some wonderful friends, Michelle and Heather (which I have known since Jr. high)!!!!!!!! We went in the mud bath, the mineral waters too. Here are some photos from our day. If you haven't gone you really need to its so much fun and relaxing.

Happy 2nd Mothers day to meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

This year Mothers day fell on my MIL (mother in laws) birthday so we went out to my sister in law, Stephanie and Petes. It was so much fun. All the moms were treated like queens. :)

Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

So we went to Christas on Monday to help do some yard work and hang out. We were all having a great time when a bee started flying around all of us then landed on SOPHIAS EYE! Her instant reaction was to put her hand there so needless to say he stung her --- ON HER EYELID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After all the panic and calls to the doctor and lots of loving she calmed down and was playing like normal. That night she went to sleep and woke up with a completely shut eye!!!! She kept saying to Noah all day "see noah, I told you the beez steen Noah!" Was really cute. I love her so much and wish the bee stung me and not her but so glad to know she is not allergic.

Anyway, that was our excitement for the week. She is ok now and her eye is back to normal but she is still traumatized of bees and all bugs for that matter. I am sure she will get over it soon enough. I love you so much baby girl. Mommy and daddy are so proud of you for being such a tough lil cookie! You obviously take after your mother! :) XOXO
