So far so good... (8 months & 3 weeks old)

meet GI Noah!!!!

After I took this picture (please dont call CPS!) :) I didn't make it fast enough to him with my other hand and he fell. Well, guess what... the helmet totally protected him. He started to cry and then realized it didn't even hurt so he started laughing. Hmmm, maybe I should get Sophia one. Uh, maybe not!

Noah is so excited that a new GI Joe movie is coming out soon and he feels so cool that he has his "camo"! http://www.gijoemovie.com/

Noah is doing extememly well so far. No fussing or anything. Should be about 3 months and then he will be done wearing it.
Other updates:

We have finally put the pack-n-play up to keep the wild monkeys caged while I use the bathroom or grab a quick bite. Seriously they are crawling everywhere. They love playing in it too.

Sophia has pretty much outgrown the co-sleeper. :( So I took her into Noahs crib for a nap and we soon realized that she was standing and could jump out. Scared the crap outta me. We lowered them immediately!!!! Here she is before we lowered them.

Noah sleeps in his crib ALL the time now and the best news is ...he is sleeping unswaddled YAY!!!!!!!! I never thought this could happen.

Sophia sleeps in pack-n-play alot now until we move her into the crib. Who knew she would love it so much. I think she loves it bec she can sprawl out like her mamma. :) (I seperate them bec they wake each other up.)

Baby Einstein is still numbero uno in our house!!!!

They are in size 4 diapers.

They love bananas in their rice cereal. mommy likes to get creative with their food.

They love tackle each to the ground.

I started using coupons at the grocery store. If you have any you aren't gonna use send em to me. :) I have saved so much grocery shopping its unreal. I feel like such a mom now.

I am officially layed off from work as of March 2nd. Bittersweet. Def a blessing in disguise.

I had a fabulous birthday trip but was happy to come home. Thanks to everyone who took care of the babies while I was gone. I had round the clock shifts - Joanna and Reanna, then Grandpa and Grandma, then Tommy and Marianne. They seemed to do very well with us being gone. Sophia yelled at Marianne a few times but that was it. :) Also, thanks everyone for all the birthday wishes and cards I really appreciate it.

Don't mind the mess this is a normal day in the Gekas household... a fisher price bomb exploded in my living room! We love it... keeps them occupied. Come and play with us. :) I know you think my house is spotless all the time and they always are dressed so cute and matching while I look like a supermodel all dolled up... Sorry to inform you, we are only like that 5 days a week ;) lol.

Have a great day!
